Bill Maher and Why He is on Everyone's Shit List

Last night in the middle of writing a funny little post about stinky sharks I had a short conversation with a regular from the 421st. The gist of the conversation was he had to be careful of talking politics where he lives. While not stating it explicitly I took it as implied that things would get heated if not violent if the wrong things were said. It stuck with me how inherently wrong that this is. Which brings me to Bill Maher.

Bill Maher is a comedian with a late night talk show Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO and he has shit in everyone's Wheaties.

Bill is a liberal and myself am not his biggest fan of his politics but he can be funny at times. Last month President Trump invited him to dinner at the White House. It was a meeting brokered by Kid Rock who is a mutual friend of the two. Neither Bill Maher nor President Trump were very optimistic about how productive the meeting would be Bill even joked about getting shipped to GITMO leading up to the diner.

The meeting and dinner was on March 31 Bill Maher, President Trump, Kid Rock and Dana White (CEO of the UFC)



While the talking heads on both sides of the political spectrum were not happy about the meeting. I am not sure why except they seem to be not happy about everything and anything in this age of rage porn. But this is not what got Bill Maher on Everyone's Shit List it is what he did afterwards:

Friday, April 11 2025 in his opening monologue Bill Maher discussed what happened at the diner and he did the unimaginable, He said nice things about President Trump!



 

Let the rage and fury begin! The Left is up and arms because it goes against holy writ to say anything other than YOUR HITLER! about the Right. The Right is upset because Bill Maher's history of decades long bashing of The President and the Right.

So here we are where neighbors are afraid to talk to neighbors, open calls for murder of people who's politics you don't like, vandalizing and attacking people for driving the wrong car for God's sake.

This country has become addicted to the rage and like any addict that is out of control it needs and intervention. The way things are can not continue.

Happy Birthday Mr. President!

  Good Morning Everyone! There is a lot going on this weekend I will try to hit some of the highlights here for you. First and foremost I would like to wish a Very Happy Birthday to President Donald J. Trump! Undoubtedly the BEST president that this country has seen since President Reagan.
