Strangers in the Night
It would seem that Felix Rojas was felling a little frisky and a little tight on cash. Well fortune favors the lucky and on April 8 Felix's ship had came in! While riding the R Train Felix came across an unfortunate sole who had passed away. What is a randy fellow down on his luck supposed to do? Felix's answer to that question was to rob and fuck the corpse!
You heard that right, robbed and fucked the corpse on the moving subway train under the cameras. At least he is not bashful. And this wasn't a quick wham bam thank-you dead guy. This went on for over a half hour. He would stop every time the train came up to a platform then start right up again when it pulled off like the busy little beaver that he is. As the train approached the station he wrapped up, zipped up and walked off the train like this was just another normal night. So much for a Cuckoo for Coco Puffs defense.
According to his brother he just got out of prison & is a heroin addict (interesting reform program New York is running). And of course he is a Mexican national and unknown if he is here legally or not. I really have to ask why he wasn't deported the second he got out of prison but these are the crazy times we live in.
He is being held on a no bond until his next court appearance. Rojas faces multiple charges for rape and grand larceny in the fourth degree, court papers show.
This does bring up some legal questions that may seem indelicate but I feel the need to ask:
Can you rape a corpse? I mean it is a given that a corpse can't give consent but does it need to? At this point it is just an inanimate object. Should necrophilia, no matter how distasteful, be given the same legal status as raping a living being? Perhaps I am misunderstanding some nuance in NY law?
Well that's New York for you what can you do? I will close with some more Sinatra. One thing you can say Felix did it his way.
