Welcome to the Land of Feels

In a society where feelings are more important than reality absurdity is the word of the day.

Today we will shine our Soron's Eye on the absurdity of body positivity.

In case you are wondering what body positivity is it is nonsense out of the "I'm OK, You'er OK" crowd that are pushing the idea that it is not only OK to be a fat, lazy pig but the absurdity that it is both healthy and beautiful to be so. You have seen it with SI and their fat swim suit models, Victoria Secrets fat runway models, and lets not forget Lizzo waddling on stage and screen. Blech!

Sorry but no one finds this attractive and more importantly it is not healthy. It has been long known that obesity causes a long list of heath problems (heart problems, diabetes, breathing problems, joint problems).

Obesity in our youth is a huge problem and this body positivity narcissism is not helping. According to the CDC just over 1 in 3 young adults aged 17-24 is too heavy to serve in the US military. Among the young adults who meet weight requirements, only 3 in 4 report physical activity levels that prepare them for challenges in basic training. Consequently, only 2 in 5 young adults are both weight-eligible and adequately active for military service.

The latest trend is what is being called "blind scales". These are "smart" bathroom scales that have no numbers on them (you know the scale that they get their name from). Originally designed for those with serious eating disorders like anorexia they are now being promoted for the fat and lazy so their feels don't get hurt.

Grow up people stop acting like such children. FMD
