An Attack On The Rights Of Men

While other blogs are fixating on Presidential Phalluses I have come across several important developments from across the pond that not only effect those living there but us here as well.

We have 3 separate yet interlocking government actions that if not put in check will have effects on our freedoms here at home.

In Great Britain the Online Safety Act went into effect yesterday. It's proponents will claim that it is to protect children from "adult content" on the Internet but the Law is much more sweeping and gives the government wide censorship powers to crack down on anything the government doesn't approve.

In France the government has declared X a criminal organization and are going after it for allowing Free Speech and not censoring its users preventing them from posting things the government doesn't like.

In Brussels you have the European Union’s Digital Services Act which specifically goes after Social Media Platforms and hits them with both severe financial penalties but also criminal penalties for companies that won't censor users to the EU's liking.

So what you say I live in America and we have the 1st Amendment. That is all well in good but the Internet is international. These platforms have shown they are all to willing to sensor dissenting voices during the Covid Pandemic and collude with Government to silence opposition irregardless of the violation of individual rights.

Action needs to be taken and taken now. Trump when he came into office signed Executive Order 14149 which prohibited federal agencies from colluding in censorship as was done during the AutoPen Regime of Biden but more needs to be done. Congress need to act and put these social media giants on notice that if they collude with foreign or domestic governments to censor Americans that their Section 230 Protected Status will be revoked. 

Europe is marching down the path of totalitarianism once again and they can not be allowed to drag us down with them.
