Don't Poke the Bear! The Sequel

Good Evening Everyone!
After relentlessly scouring the interweebs searching for stories that may be of interest to you I have found one that you might enjoy.

We actually have a twofer to get you through the weekend. Our first story comes out your favorite state and mine, Florida! I really do like this State it has given me much entertainment and joy!
A Florida Man (hehehe) has been arrested by no other than Smoke the Bear himself.
It would seem that this enterprising (though not to smart) ne'er-do-well thought it would be a good idea to travel the state stealing iconic Smokey the Bear signs from various parks and selling them on Facebook Marketplace. Looks like it didn't work out too well for him. Florida Man what would we do without you?

Now it just so happens that Smokey the Bear turns 81 Today. For those not familiar Smoke the Bear is the mascot for the American Forestry Service ad campaign to prevent forest fires cause by tourist in American Parks.

Anyone in America who grew up during the age of Broadcast TV will never forget Smokey's iconic image. It was everywhere:

Kid's Cartoon Series
Magazine ads
He even made it to the cover of Newsweek
Billboards and Roadside Signs
And of course he is found at every major park

All with a simple message: "Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires"

I Love You Guys!

  Good Evening Everyone!!! Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I have been hopping between two large projects and have had very little free time. I have basically been living out of my truck and a suitcase for the past few weeks. As the old saying goes "I'll get enough sleep when I am dead" I do stop in every now and then even if I don't comment. You guys crack me up! I don't think I laugh any harder than I do when reading the comments here. At least here, unlike Stan's sewer you haven't forgot how to have fun. It is really sad over there. How the mighty have fallen. (Do you remember what fun is Stan?) I had some stupid, rage-bait political posts written but to be honest I just don't care right now. I am too busy to worry about what some ass-hats in DC are doing nor do I care about the opinions of retards on the Interweebs and all their salty tears. Remembering Those Who Gave All

It is a National Holiday and a day to honor those who have fought and died for our country and the freedoms it enshrines. We celebrate this holiday on the last Monday of May with memorial services, parades, fireworks, and the placing on flowers and flags graveside of our honored fallen. The largest events will be held in our national capitol Washington D.C.
